Sigma PM Consultancy provides marine design and engineering services at each stage of the project life cycle. Whether you need full-scope or individual-stage engagement, we are here to help.On the design side, we work from pre-design and feasibility through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation. This includes structural engineering, mooring design, pontoon specification, and coordination of other marine disciplines.Project management covers the construction delivery phase: contractor procurement and selection, programme management, cost reporting, and stakeholder coordination. Construction site supervision is an independent inspection service, placing one of our engineers on site to verify that works are built in accordance with the approved design.Full details of each service are available on the Services page.

Yes. We can step into a project at any stage. At the start, we assess the current state of documentation, programme, and contractor relationships and structure our involvement from there.Clients sometimes bring us in to fill a gap left by a departing team member, consultant, or contractor. Other times, it’s to establish a management structure on a project that has lost sight of it.

We design and build a broad range of marine and waterfront structures, combining knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines. Products we have designed and built include floating petrol stations, superyacht berths, and private luxury marinas. Explore our project portfolio here. All products can be custom-designed to match the technical requirements of a specific project. We work with clients who need a product specified to fit an existing design, and with those who need structural input to determine what specification is appropriate. Custom product design typically runs alongside the broader design engagement.

Yes.Most of our projects are based in the UAE, primarily Abu Dhabi and Dubai. However, we have served clients from the broader Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar. We have also delivered internationally, serving clients as far as Australia and Japan. We are open to enquiries from other geographies and assess each project individually.

It depends on the scope and the stage of involvement. A feasibility study and concept design for a smaller marine structure might take as little as a several weeks. Full-scope design and delivery for a large or complex structure typically runs from one to several years, depending on factors such as permitting, contractor procurement, and build complexity. We provide a programme estimate at the start of every engagement once the scope is understood.

A short exchange where you describe your project and where you are in the process. We ask the questions we need to understand scope, constraints, and timing, and come back with a view on how we can help and what involvement would look like. There’s nothing formal or pre-prepared required for that conversation, and it’s completely free.
